New Baby!!!

NO I am not pregnant!!!!!!
Ashley got two new cabbage patch babies this Christmas. One of them is a water baby and named Cordell. The other baby, I got for her. I bought it without looking at the name but when I got home I found out I bought Abby. I thought it was neat that the two babies had names of people we know. I bought Abby because I was tired of Ashley carrying a baby that had no pants. The store did not have any cloths so that leave me with no other choice.
Ashley is now carrying both of them!!! We can only hope that we can slowly get baby boy put up.

Christmas #4- Christmas Day

Christmas Eve we all went to church. We were happily joined by Mem and Pop for church this year. It was nice to have then join us. Ashley was able to wear a dress that I made for her. I think it turned out nice. I felt sorry for her. She was starting to get sick and was running a fever while I was makeing her try this dress on several times. Here are a few pictures I took after church.

Here are a few pictures of all my wonderful children.

I was feeding Andrew during the present opening so again there are not any pictures. I did get pictures of the kids playing later. I was a nice to have Ashley old enough to understand what was happening. I think it was the first year that she really got it.

Christmas with Nana

Christmas #3- Nana's

This was full of fun as well. We had Nana, Jim, Aunt Ellena and Ryan over to our house for Christmas. We started the night off with KFC for dinner. I had not had this in such a long time, mmmmmm how good it was. The presents were wonderful and I truly think everyone had a good time. Thank you Nana, Jim, Aunt Ellena, and Ryan for sharing this time and gifts with us.

Christmas #2 -Mem's House

This was a wonderful time as well. Mem had make a huge feast for all to share turkey, ham, tamales you know the works.
Andrew was sleeping on my shoulder during the present time, so the pictures are not as many as I would like.
Anthony got a new Ipod, and a rocking chair that connects to his game systems.
Daddy and I both got a wonderful gift from my children, a rotisserie cooker. We have already made hamburgers and chicken. I really like it.
Aunt Laurie gave Ashley box of dress up cloths, including shoes. She has worn those shoes almost everyday since then.
Thank you Mem and Pop for all those wonderful gifts.

To Much Shopping

Ashley, Nana, Andrew and I went and spent the day shopping together. we had fun. I think Nana enjoyed seeing the imagination of a 2 year old come out. I did not realise how tired Ashley was until I got a call from her Father.
He took her with him to go and pickup something for dinner. He said that he was talking with her and she was telling him about the Carousel horses at the mall, and how many times she rode it. Then without a warning Larry said it got very quiet. When he drove int o the driveway this is what I found.
I guess when she gets older she will learn to shop without passing out at the end:)

Christmas with Papa Wasson

As we started out Christmas marathon, we had Papa Wasson and Aunt Laurie over for a evening of fun. We ate a meal together and then the fun began. Aunt Laurie brought Jeff and his son. Papa Wasson got Anthony and Daddy both gift certificates to the Academy. Man were they excited. Ashley received a huge coloring book, which she insisted that Aunt Laurie color with her.
Even Papa Wasson got down and colored with her.
Andrew even got a present. However, he likes to sleep through Christmas.

Sorry

I know that is has been a while since I updated the blog but I have a very good reason. Everyone in the house, except Anthony, has a cold. It started with Ashley then went to Daddy, followed by Andrew and now me. Added bonus is that both the younger kids have ear infections. The doctor called them book cases since Ashley has one in the right and Andrew's is in the left.
Andrew is starting to be able to breathe again. Since baby's breath through their noses, it adds a bigger problem than a simple stuffy nose. The humidifier has been running non-stop since Sunday.

First Smile on Camera

Well Andrew has been smiling at Mom for a while but we were able to finally get a smile on camera. He is getting so very big.
He smiled at Daddy the other day. It is funny how a simple smile can brighten your day.

Santa

The kids got to meet Santa last weekend. Anthony walked right up to him while he told Ashley the this was Santa. Ashley was a little scared but warmed up to Santa fast. she would tell Larry and I the answers to his questions. I think I told her several times to tell Santa and not me. She told Santa she wanted a train and Anthony told Santa he wanted a bug vacuum. We added Andrew to the mix and the picture was complete. I wish we could have caught the face Andrew made and I placed him on Santa. It was the saddest face. Either way, here is the picture that we were able to get. It seems weird to see all three kids in one picture.
Looking back at this time, Ashley had no hair and was very small. I hope to find a copy of it to paste in later.

Aunt Ellena came to play

On Sunday Aunt Ellena came to visit. We had so much fun together. We started off the fun by playing guitar hero's. Anthony was able to show of by playing the guitar over his head.
Then we played games in the living room. We played twister, hide and seek, and even connect four.
The kids had a blast!!! Ashley can not wait for Aunt Ellena to come over again.

After she left, we had to run in the house and warm our feet. The side walk is cold when you go out in only your shirt and panties!!!

Silly Dogs

We have a swing that sits on the back porch. However, the wind has a habit of making it fall down. After the latest wind gust, the swing came apart. Larry and I have decided that we are going to get rid of it, so Larry has not put it together.
This is how we found the dogs the other day...

Tigger Time!!!

This is for Angie!!! I hope you enjoy!!!
The kids thought Angie would enjoy seeing the kids bounce around. Anthony was falling to make laugh. If you listen, near the end he is telling Ashley to fall down.

Who do I look like?

I found this picture of Andrew and thought it would be fun to see what you guys think. Use these two pictures to answer the poll on the side...

Big Sister

Ashley is a little mother when it comes to taking care of Andrew. She will run around the house when he starts to cry saying, "Coming Sweetheart!!!" or "Coming Pumpkin!" She uses all the cute little saying I will say as I go to take care of him.
Here are some of the latest pictures of them spending time together. I hope she remembers how much she cared for him, when they are fighting.

Never to Big to Rock

Ashley had a fun filled day of playing over at Mem's house, and did not take a nap. To say the least, she was tired when it came to 7:00. It was when she was laying on the floor screaming for the lack of cheese in the fridge, that I realised that it was time for bed. I gave Andrew to his Dad and carried off the screaming child. We climbed into the rocking chair where she screamed for another 10 minutes. After she stopped screaming, I placed her in bed. I was called in three more times for lotion, water, and finally one more rock. She was laying on my shoulder when I moved her to the cradle hold. She told me, "Too Big, Mommy" I told her she was never to big to rock with me. Five minutes later she was sound asleep in my lap.
I guess in our own little way who would not want to crawl in a rocking chair and be rocked to sleep by our mommy. I just hope my kids never loose sight that they are never to big to crawl in my lap.

1 month Check-up

After the hard two weeks we have had with Mr. Man, we can proudly post our 1 month stats. He is 22 inches long and is weighing.......... a huge 9 pounds. His jaundice has cleared up. Dr. Pullium was so excited he gave Andrew his first shot in the office.
Andrew was not that happy about the shot.

Decorating time

The decorating time has come and gone, IT IS FINISHED!!!!
The kids have had a blast. It did take extra time to get it done. I was not ready for all that, but it was ok.
Ashley has learned about Santa and can not stop talking about him. Last night she told me that Santa was going to bring her presents. She also told me that she was going to Santa's house and say hi to Santa nd the reindeer. It is so nice to have her great imagination to make the season come alive. I will add pictures after Andrew goes to bed.

Christmas is Here!!!

Because Andrew is so young I have stayed in the house while the others decorate the outside. (I will post pictures when they are done.)
Larry came in and told mt the best story....
Ashley found the plastic figure of baby Jesus, and thought she should play with it. So she picks it up and starts to rock it. When Larry noticed he asked her to put it down. Ashly, however, had other plans... she start to run in circles around the tree. Larry starts to run after her yelling, "Ashley, give me baby Jesus!!!" The best part was that a women saw the entire scene and told Larry that she had never seen something so funny in her life. Leave it to my family to be the entertainment for the neighborhood:)

What a difference 5 days can make!!!

Andrew went to the doctors today and we received great news. He has gained an entire pound since last Wednesday. Pullium seemed VERY pleased with his growth, as was I. He is still a little jaundice and we will return on Friday to have that checked out.
After the doctors I sat holding my sleeping baby and could not help but to thank God for his health. Looking back I am a very lucky mother. My children have for the most part been very healthy. I am not sure why or what I have done to make this happen, but I am thankful. I know that there are many families out there that are not as lucky as I. My kids have had their problems but I know in my heat that it could be much worst.
So I looked at my last son and took a good cry. The stress of raising children is nothing that can be explained. However, it is the children that encourage me to go on. After the hard weekend we had as a family, I can say that this is the best part of having kids. The quiet times when you can sit and think of their futures and only hope that they are able to make better choice than me, and that they are as happy as I am.

First Milestone

While Larry was giving Andrew, he started to hold his bottle for himself.
What a big boy Mommy has!!!

Christmas Cake!!!

During all the drama of Saturday, I found a new cake bundt pan. It has christams trees going around it, with a train on the bottom. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen.
The first cake I made for it, did not go well at all. So I tried a basic yellow cake. I then took icing and melted it. I added green food coloring. It turned out great. The kids loved it.
